It’s a mess for sure, but I’m actually looking forward to seeing some new teams as I root for my Baylor Bears (now that I’m semi- retired and travel to games when I can). My only really comment is that you need to put the blame where it belongs- the University of Texas, which opened the Pandora’s Box when they created the Longhorn Network, which caused Texas A&M to run to the SEC, which triggered the end of the Southwest Conference, and on and on...... And UT wonders why they need to “Embrace the Hate.” 🙄. Oh, and can you REALLY call TCU the runner-up after their showing in that National Championship Game? 😉

And-- loved the post overall! But I love my college football, so hard to not love a well-thought out critique of it.

i’m hearing a lot of UT hate in feedback to this post, but several of my loyal subscribers are alum so i diplomatically decline to comment (but i will not stop commenters from being proud haters keep it going) 🫡
